My Views On Global Integration Through Technological Innovation
Theorists (literary or otherwise) have debated the need and scope of a universally accepted and integrated language for the world to unite and think of the various languages and individual pasts as a part a collective world heritage.
Yet the language that broke all barriers was the language of science and technology.
The internet has brought the world closer together than any other language ever could, quite easily disposing of ethnic, social, economic and gender biases.
A wonderfully innovative project 'Hole in the wall' better illustrates this by installing old computers in a wall in villages.
Where "Tamil-speaking twelve-year-olds learn the bio-technology of DNA replication in English by themselves from a street side computer".
It has freed  us from the restrictions imposed on us and we can finally move to an era of instantaneous transfer and translation of information all around the world raising all bars for global cooperation.
This for me is the most alluring aspect of computer science, it is empowering beyond all other vehicles of growth or change.
Microsoft has been one of the biggest contributors to this worldwide change.
It made data-handling easier with Microsoft -Excel.
Gave the first platform for emerging bloggers, and easy presentation and editing tools for students through Microsoft-Word.
The most used of them all being Microsoft PowerPoint, used by students and professionals alike, for their presentation needs making it fun, quick and easy.
It has also facilitated wins for me in State-Wide Intellectual Olympiad due to its brilliant features and intuitive design that allowed me to make my presentation all the more compelling and interesting.
I can vividly remember these tools, as they were the first things I learnt while entering the realm of computer science.
Windows has always been the most user friendly operating system and it is where my baby-steps of computing began, which is why I (one amongst many of my generation) am very fond of it.

Being the editor of my college e-magazine I was given the responsibility to edit and refine articles that were a little rough around the edges.
Wordpress has helped empower people to voice their thoughts openly and it has given me the opportunity to help people improve at what they are passionate about.
Massive open online courses like Edx, Mitx,Udacity etc. have helped improve my potential for better understanding of the subject and make complicated disciplines like Artificial Intelligence more accessible to me, and aiding people like me all around the world with self-learning and greatly increasing their potential for growth.

Microsoft has always been a steady platform for creativity, growth and change but has also been dynamic and multi-faceted.

"True philanthropy requires a disruptive mindset, innovative thinking and a philosophy driven by entrepreneurial insights and creative opportunities."

Bill Gates has been my idol and not because he is the richest man on earth, or because his intellectual prowess has made Microsoft a household name, but because of his compassion and understanding for people's problems all over the world.
He has utilized the resources he had to make the world a better place and made countless lives better with his benevolent philanthropic deeds. I need to be under your training and influence, to maybe one day attain the power to change the world equipped with technological know-how and good intentions.
‘It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.’
-Albert Einstein
Vigyan Vahini (social project that teaches underprivileged children the practical aspects of Math and Science) has influenced me and has given me the opportunity to give back to my community.
What I am excited about is the amount of influence I have on young minds through this program and how  I could one day amplify this change by introducing them to  computer science by conducting workshops and providing them with all the tools they need and yearn for, to become vessels of change themselves (one day).Teaching someone the way I have tried to teach them.My tryst with computer science has begun with Microsoft and it has nurtured my interest in the field. The Microsoft Virtual Academy has been a great help with my programming skills and I have become more aware of the influence that it has had on me .I wish to one day be the harbinger of great innovative change in the world, and it all starts here-with Microsoft.Becoming a Microsoft Student Associate would allow me to begin my journey to spread technological awareness and bring social change. The start of world integration and unity begins here -with Microsoft, and I want to be a cog in this machine of development have the ability to influence and change people's lives for the better with the blessing that is technology.
